INSPIRE-5Gplus talk on 5G security at 5G innovation event in Winterthur
ZHAW presentation on 5G security
Dr. Gürkan Gür from INSPIRE-5Gplus partner Zurich University of Applied Sciences (ZHAW) gave an invited talk on 5G security at an event on 5G as innovation driver (“Innovationstreiber 5G”) at Technopark Winterthur in Switzerland on 9th November 2021.
The event explored technology, risks and possible applications in the context of 5G-enabled innovation. It provided a forum to discuss various aspects of 5G technologies among experts and interested professionals from the tech community and start-ups. Besides Dr. Gür from ZHAW, the event included speakers from Sunrise Communications AG, the Swiss federal ministry for the environment (BAFU) and cloud technology start-up 56k.cloud.

In his talk, Dr. Gür presented various aspects of 5G security and discussed lessons learned from the INSPIRE-5Gplus project efforts. He also introduced open challenges with innovation potential and future research directions for 5G and Beyond 5G security.
